  • Cheese Cellar, a fine food distributor since 1970, has re-adopted its original name, Harvey & Brockless, in order to better represent the diversity of the business – which incorporates olives, charcuterie, chocolate, patisserie and more as well as cheese and dairy products

The Cheese Cellar brand has been split into three entities: Cheese Cellar Dairy will manage the cheeses produced at its Worcestershire Farm, Cheese Cellar Artisan will oversee the wholesale of artisan British and Continental cheeses, while Cheese Cellar Essentials will be responsible for other cheese and dairy products.

Dell’ami, the distributor’s Mediterranean deli products arm, will continue to sell olives, oils, vinegars, antipasti, and British and Continental charcuterie; while Huge Sauce, the food-manufacturing arm of the business, will still be producing restaurant-quality sauces, dressings and dips.

Nick Martin, managing director said,“As a business, our focus is on being the preferred supplier of speciality foods in the UK. We feel that the name Harvey & Brockless reflects our heritage in the speciality food market and the fact that we are more than just a cheese and dairy supplier.

“The category brands will reassure our customers of the depth of knowledge that we have across all of these sectors. We look forward to the next 45 years of working with our customers!”
