Coming Soon: Scotland’s Speciality Food Show

As the only fine food trade show north of Yorkshire it is a ‘must visit’ for all quality food retailers from delis to farm shops, tourist shops to department stores. This year there is an increasing emphasis on food and drink for the hospitality sector too.

Over one third of the 150 exhibitors are new to the Show – some will be launching their products for the first time ever in January. Complemented by an ever-increasing mix of established food companies and distributors, this show has an excellent mix of Scottish, British and worldwide foods that will add originality and quality to any retailer’s shelves or food counter.

Launching to the trade
At the centre of the Show are about 20 innovative young companies, specially selected for their originality and quality and who have been trading for under two years. This year’s line up includes the new Luss Smokehouse, The Very Lovely Sauce Company with its range of caramel sauces, The Auchtermuchty Cake Company, Angus and Oink’s rubs and marinades, Red Squirrel drinks, Ogilvy Spirits and Yorkshire Dama Cheese, who all have exciting, innovative products to tempt your customers.

So many reasons to visit…
- The Seminar Theatre - How often do we want extra tips on social media for our business or to learn how to improve our skills? This year’s Show will have an impressive line-up of educational seminars on subjects such as social media, e-commerce, pop-up shops, how to choose a successful brand, food and drink tastings and more.

- Best product awards are made for the best products in four categories – condiments and preserves, chilled and frozen, drinks and confectionery, biscuits and snacks. Judged by industry experts, including a high profile chef/foodie at the opening of the show, the winners will be displayed in special cabinets.

- Scotland’s Trade Show is held in conjunction with the Speciality Food Show featuring over 400 suppliers of gifts, jewellery, clothing and a new Craft Gallery. This attracts many retailers who stock both food and non-food products.
