Family Business? How To Make It Work

John Shepherd, managing director of Partridges said, “We’re thrilled to have won both of these awards as they are testament to the hard work that we’ve put into the business as a family. Since we started in 1972 we’ve been passionate about supporting fine food businesses and working with them to help them grow. With the development of the food markets we’ve been able to have a bigger influence in this area.

“If you asked me what makes the business work, I think that it’s our dedication to working directly with high quality food suppliers for the long-term. We aim to create good working relationships with the companies that we trade with. We champion new ideas and like to take controlled risks. We always look to offer something different.”
