Get your free copyThe show was so successful for exhibitors that over 40 per cent of the available floor space has already been booked for next year’s show, by companies including Pipers Crisps and Diverse Fine Food.
The Farm Shop & Deli Awards 2016 took place at the show, naming 12 category winners and nine regional award winners as well as the winner of the overall Retailer of the Year award, Arthur Howell.
The Great New Idea competition was won by Boozy Udders for its cocktail-inspired luxury ice creams.
Jack Halliday, event director said, “The Farm Shop & Deli Show 2016 was a resounding success with a constant flow of visitors from every corner of the industry.
“It continues to be the perfect platform for companies to showcase their brands to the most relevant audience and for visitors to find out what the next big trends in the industry will be.
“The awards generated much excitement with a record number of entries across all categories and I think the expert judges picked a group of very worthy winners.”
Next year’s Farm Shop & Deli Show is taking place at NEC, Birmingham 24th-26th April 2017.
