Lupetta Announces Expanded Range

The bronze-died pasta range has a high protein content, meaning it keeps its shape better when cooking and has the ideal al dente texture, and is sourced from a long-established producer in Lombardy.

The new extra virgin olive oil is sourced from a producer in Umbria, and is a blend of Sicilian and Puglian oils which gives is a grassy and fruity taste with a hint of pepper.

Simon Bell, CEO of Donantantonio said, “We have deliberately combined different colours with the clean, modern, Lupetta design to help the packs stand out from the conventional, old fashioned look of many pasta brands. The aim is to position them as a modern, premium quality Italian product.”

“We are trying to offer an excellent tasting and versatile extra virgin oil which is priced sensibly so people can use it frequently for dipping as well as dressings and cooking.”
