New Cheeses for Derbyshire Wholesaler

A Derbyshire-based cheese wholesaler is adding new locally-produced cheeses to its selection

The Hartington Cheese and Wine Company supplies farm shops, delis, public houses and restaurants in the Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire regions.

The Hartington Creamery is almost ready to produce Stilton, which will bring production back to the area after the last producer closed down.

Claire Millner, owner of the Hartington Cheese and Wine Company, said, “We have been offering a service to trade customers for some time now, with a great response and some extremely valuable and loyal clientele. With the opening of the creamery just around the corner, and the introduction of a new Derbyshire Stilton cheese, we are inviting traders who haven't sampled our ranges before to try not only our new offering but our wider ranges of cheese too.

“Here at Hartington Cheese and Wine, we have a passion for good, honest, traditionally-produced food and are keen to preserve the cheese reputation and history that has been synonymous with Hartington over the years,” she added.
