Spooky Preparations At Bluebells

A Derby farm shop is celebrating Halloween this year by hosting a number of games and spooky craft activities

The farm shop called Bluebells in Spondon is carefully preparing for the scariest celebration of the year by organising the final of the 'Giant Pumpkin Challenge', pumpkin carving, Halloween archery and doughnut dangling games.

The shop has also established a new ice cream flavour, 'Bluebells Trick or Treat Ice Cream' which is toffee apple flavoured. Bluebells is also inviting children to join in with 'Little Monsters Breakfast.'; a delicious home-cooked breakfast, mask making and a goodie bag. Visitors may also want to join the store for 'Ghoulish Tea Time'; to enjoy a selection of ghoulish grub and the Spooky Sundae Creation Station.

In the Halloween marquee, there will be a variety of crafts and games. Bluebells food will be available to purchase within the marquee, Rosemary Brown, owner of the shop comments, "We hope lots of children, mums and dads will join us over half term for some Halloween entertainment. Bluebells really is a place for the whole family and we have something for everyone."
