  • The Wiltshire-based producer has created a new look for its range in order to better tell the story of its products to consumers

The decision follows consumer research which the business carried out to find out what people thought of the Tracklements brand, how they buy and use condiments, and why they make the purchase decisions they do.

Tracklements found that consumers enjoyed its products and recognised their quality and innovation, but new purchasers were unable to gather from the branding what it was like as a business.

In order to get the message across that Tracklements products are made by hand in small batches, the company chose to rebrand the entire range with help from design company, Big Fish.

The new look incorporates hand drawn illustrations and numbers to reflect the individual characters of each product in the range, and to demonstrate the size and versatility of the Tracklements offer – with the ultimate aim of encouraging consumers to be more adventurous, resulting in higher sales for retailers.

The new jars will be sent out at the beginning of September, and free point of sale will communicate the changeover to consumers.

Guy Tullberg, Tracklements MD says “We feel the redesign beautifully reflects Tracklements heritage whilst brilliantly portraying our future. These unique, characterful labels really echo the quality and distinctiveness of the products inside the jars.”
