- A bespoke food and drink retail venue has opened in Boreham, employing 15 local residents. The site will combine a shopping area with an in-store bakery and butchery counter
There is also a dedicated selection of food sourced nearby including locally-produced cider, ales from Round Tower Brewery and superb wines from Dedham Vale Wine, plus smoked fish, olives and cheese from Hanningfield Smokehouse and chilled pâtés, and sliced and smoked meats from Dan Hull.
Ambient items include jams from Thursday Cottage and chilli jams and sauces from Jules & Sharpie, and award-winning handmade ice-cream from Hadley’s Farm and flowers supplied by Blossom Hill Florists in Danbury will also be available to purchase.
A spokesperson said, “Our intention is to turn back the clock and offer some good old-fashioned customer service!”
