Demand for Venison Soars for field fare

field fare, suppliers of quality frozen foods, are seeing sales of its Venison and Roasted Vegetable Casserole ready meal soar.

The venison is of prime quality, mild in flavour and reared at Holme Farm in Yorkshire.  field fare’s recipe comprises of chunks of succulent venison simply braised in red wine with a medley of celeriac, carrots and swede oven roasted with rosemary.  This traditional recipe is perfectly timed for winter when consumers enjoy eating more comfort food. 

The Venison and Roasted Vegetable Casserole is one of a range of 20 premium ready meals from field fare.  The range includes ‘Best of British’ recipes e.g. Lancashire Hotpot, Minted Lamb Casserole, ‘European’ recipes e.g. Chicken Cacciatore, Meatballs Pomodoro and ‘Recipes from Around the World’ e.g. Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh and Green Thai Chicken Curry.

All meat dishes use Red Tractor meat and have on average 25% more meat per pack than other notable ready meal suppliers.
