As a restaurant chef, knowing and understanding ingredients is fundamental for the creation of a house special or taking traditional dishes and adding a house twist. An essential part of the cooking process goes far beyond matching flavours; there is a need to understand the traditions behind the produce, which become part of the visual sensual experience. And instrumental to Maître d’s and waiting staff when advising and guiding customers’ menu choose, are the nuances which make and complement the flavours. Even more elemental is the ability to pair wines which enhance the flavours of a dish. Discover the Origin Masterclasses can help you acquire the knowledge and expertise required to give your customers an enhanced dining experience.
