The Regional Food Group (RFG) is hosting the first in a series of breakfast meetings to examine issues surrounding food trends in Masham on Wednesday 19th November.
The breakfast discussion event will be addressed by IGD representative Peter Whitehead and will look at emerging trends within the food industry and the major changes in consumer purchasing behaviour over the last five years.
Mr Whitehead has 20 years experience working for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (now DEFRA). He has also co-authored a number of publications including Lean Operations and Competing in the 21st Century. His research is currently focused on understanding the causes of food waste in supply chains, training farmers on marketing principles and researching into supply chain costs.
Tickets for the event cost £35, or £20 for Deliciouslyorkshire members. For further information call 01937 830354.
