Proving that the current economic crisis isn't putting off shoppers, The Ludlow Hamper Company owned and run by Simon and Beth Heath is experiencing phenomenal orders.
“We believe it is due to the fact that we are offering local products, from local producers and that local businesses are wanting to support them through these hard times, rather than the ‘big boys’ like M&S and Harrods!” comments Beth Heath.

She says the the business is able to offer that little bit extra in service and individuality, which could also be why consumers are purchasing in their droves. She continues, "We are very proud to be a local company that can support smaller producers and pass their products on to the discerning customers around the country. We are amazed that orders are coming in faster than ever before and it is nice to have a good news story in amongst all the bad."
