At a time when the economic downturn is at the forefront of retailers’ minds the Regional Food Group (RFG) is coordinating a workshop in Ripon, designed to offer great value and insight for everyone who attends.
The voice of Yorkshire’s food and drink producers is holding the one-day workshop to provide the region’s food retailers with essential information, industry tips and the latest advice on how to grow sales and stay ahead of the competition.
During the day delegates will benefit from the experience of Sandy Boyd, manager of Ludlow Food Centre, Andrew Heywood, financial director at Lakeland Computer Consultancy Services Ltd, John Ibbotson, director of Retail Vision and Robin Norton founder of Grasp Business Development in Harrogate. Between them they will cover essential best practice in areas such as merchandising, research, food safety, shop layout and improving customer experience.
RFG chief executive, Jonathan Knight, comments, “Yorkshire and Humber is the food and drink capital of the UK and it’s vital to continue to drive business within the industry in order to maintain this position. We hope that those attending the workshop will find it beneficial and will be able to take away some valuable information to help them improve the way they retail their food businesses.”
The Workshop will take place at Fountains Abbey, Ripon from 9:00 – 4:15 on 20th October. There is a cost of £95 for RFG members and £135 to non-members. For further information, or to book a place, please contact Laura Gill .
