Nominations now open: shine a light on a British heritage brand

Do you know a passionate producer who successfully revived a nearly forgotten regional cheese? How about an independent brand who has fought behind the scenes to ensure a rare traditional skill was kept alive?

The food and drink sector is rife with inspiring tales of the dedicated individuals and teams who have strived to keep Britain’s heritage brands beloved and relevant amidst a backdrop of ever-changing tastes and trends – and at Speciality Food, we want to celebrate these quiet success stories.

Heritage Brands 2026

A new showcase from Speciality Food is celebrating the craftsmanship, innovation and dedication of food and drink brands, artisan makers and independent producers.

In the inaugural year of this exciting project, Speciality Food is shining a spotlight on businesses that preserve traditional skills, champion regional specialities and create products with a lasting legacy.

“These producers play a vital role in shaping and sustaining Britain’s rich food and drink culture, and we are delighted to give them the recognition they deserve,” says Speciality Food editor Holly Shackleton.
