Farm Shop & Deli Show is the flagship event for the speciality food market and brings together the great and good of the industry in thrall to the very best British produce. Following a 16-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, those on the show floor will be in celebratory mood – as such, 2021’s Farm Shop & Deli Show will be a unique ‘must-see’ hive of innovation.
Showcase events include the return of the Farm Shop & Deli Awards, the finals of which, held during the show on Monday 5th July, recognise and rightly laud speciality retailers leading the sector in customer service, innovation and community involvement.
New for 2021 is an awards scheme tipped to become the gold standard in UK butchery produce and an indication of all-round excellence. The Meat Product Awards will showcase the quality and calibre of produce supplied by the industry. Entries will be scrutinised by an esteemed panel of judges who will consider taste, sustainability and provenance before awarding category winners.
Live judging takes place on 6th July, with the category winners announced later that same day. Entries close on 21st June – find out more and enter here.
With stringent safety and hygiene measures in place, the show will be the first opportunity for suppliers, buyers, experts and decision makers to come together as an industry once again and focus on the future whilst also celebrating the resilience, spirit and innovation that prevailed during the pandemic.
With a recently completed survey revealing that 94% of respondents consider attending Farm Shop & Deli Show as important to their business, this is the only place in 2021 to meet so many innovative new and existing suppliers under one roof.
Just some of the exciting suppliers and NPD to put on any visitors’ must-see list include Cawston Press, Brindisa Spanish Foods, Edinburgh Honey Co, Martin Frobisher’s and Nairn’s Oatcakes – to name just a few.
Registration is free and the UK Food & Drink Shows unite six shows under one roof, covering the complete supply chain in three comprehensive days of insight, innovation and inspiration. Farm Shop & Deli Show joins Foodex, The Ingredients Show, National Convenience Show, The Forecourt Show and Food & Drink Expo, to create an unmissable proposition for progressive food and drink professionals across the industry.
While the content of each show has been tailored to meet the exacting requirements of its respective audience, The UK Food & Drink Shows are united by four overarching themes: Health & Nutrition, Sustainability, Technology and Consumer Insight; issues faced unilaterally that will filter down into every part of the show discourse.
The UK Food & Drink Shows have recently been awarded the ‘Visit Britain’ ‘We’re Good to Go’ accreditation verifying that the event meets Government and public health guidance on Covid-19 with all required health and safety processes in place to open safely in July.
