Sustainable Food Month is here to educate, inspire and support the food and drink industry to realise the potential of sustainability

It has never been more vital for businesses to step up and take responsibility for the part they play in making the food industry a more sustainable place; Sustainable Food Month, brought to you by Speciality Food and Too Good To Go, will help you do just that.

During the month of October Speciality Food will be delivering sustainable food boxes to retailers that sign up to take part in the campaign. This gives retailers the chance to discover exciting products, with eco-credentials for their stores. We are inviting all brands that are passionate about sustainability to take part.

    If my product is chilled or frozen can I take part?

    No chilled and frozen products are able to take part. There are other options to market your brand around Sustainable Food Month - contact us

    How many products do I need to supply?

    Upto 50 units, you may wish to supply less if your product is particularly expensive.

    I'd like to include several SKUs for this promotion. How does the fee work?

    The administrative fee covers each SKU, so you would need to pay the £95 for each SKU.

    How does the retailer element work?

    Throughout October we will promote the campaign to bricks & mortar retailers, asking them to register to receive a sample box

    I'd like promotion just for my products, is this possible?

    Of course. We can offer a range of advertising options, including a product feature in Speciality Food. For more information contact us

    Where and when do I send the products?

    We will get in touch with you directly to organise this. The products will be shipped to our Colchester office on or before 21st September

    How can I feature in the promotional photography?

    As long as your products are here on time you will feature in the photography at no extra cost.

    Do I have to feature in the promotional photography?

    Not at all - this is totally optional.

    Can alcoholic beverages be included?

    Yes alcoholic drinks are able to take part, we will be asking retailers to confirm they have an alcohol license.

    What retailers will likely be sampling my products?

    They will be readers of Speciality Food Magazine so have to meet our circulation criteria. It is likely they will be a mix of delis, farm shops, garden centres or food halls.

    When will I get delivery details?

    After booking one of the team will be in touch with full written instructions.
