The factory expansion comes as a result of plans to increase production – two new fryers have increased production by 25 per cent.

Gas flushing technology has also been employed to extend the shelf life of the crisps from 20 weeks to 26 weeks.

John Joseph, operation manager said, “The investment demonstrates our commitment to the sector and is part of an ambitious growth plan to be able to offer greater capacity to meet consumer demand.

We’re excited to be able to offer retailers a product that now represents an event better investment thanks to the extended shelf life of the range.
