Farm Shop Reopens Its Doors

10 October 2011, 14:54 PM
  • The Arrow Farm Shop in Worksop will be unveiling its newly refurbished shop and café on 19th November

The shop, situated in the heart of Arrow Farm, was originally opened in 1991 by owners Richard and Dinah, who started off by selling their home grown Marfona potatoes.

The new premises will include a delicatessen selling jams and pickles as well as a resident florist offering a home delivery service.

“Our new shop allows us to provide a greater choice as well as helping to promote even more local producers,” says Dinah Blagg, co-owner of the Arrow Farm Shop. “The new shop is bigger, enabling us to stock a wider range of high quality produce, whilst retaining the simple, honest values we have build the business upon.”

The new café will sell daily specials created by in house chefs, and an on-site bakery will be making cakes and puddings exclusively for the farm.

The refurbishment of the shop has been supported through the Rural Development Programme for England, which aims to improve competitiveness within the agricultural sector and support businesses in rural communities.
