New Resource for Fine Food Producers

Stephen Hodgetts from Gourmet Partners and Lesley Parr from Splat Marketing & PR will now provide tailor-made services including strategic sales reviews for the UK and export, trade marketing and public relations.

The duo have spent the past 12 years in senior roles at companies including Cottage Delight, Byron Bay Cookie Company and Artisan Biscuits.

Prior to that, Stephen spent 16 years at Petty, Wood & Co. whilst Lesley was in marketing management for the hospitality sector.

Mr Hodgetts said, “Businesses perhaps cannot justify the cost of a full time resource or they require someone to look at their organisation with a fresh pair of eyes. Between us we have a wealth of information that speciality food producers will find invaluable – after all, we have over 40 years combined experience of working in the sector.

“Providing a freelance service for the speciality food sector was something that was identified as a business need for speciality producers. Because of our grass roots knowledge, we are confident that we can really help and make a difference to a whole host of businesses.

“Between us we have a growing portfolio of clients including those that wish to extend into export, others that require marketing communications support and also businesses that wish to launch their brand into the UK. We are excited about the future opportunities that are available and would be happy to talk to any speciality food producer that needs help and advice.”
