Now offering the entire range of Silver & Green’s range of olives and antipasti, a total of nearly 50 products, the distributor will be working closely alongside the producer to expand its customer base beyond Scotland and the north to include the south east.

Rachel Hannaford of Silver & Green said, “Silver & Green started working with The Cress Company last August. Initially they listed our new retail olive pouches and things got off to rather spectacular start. Silver & Green’s sales for the first month smashed the previous listing in that category 10-1. Before we had a chance to wipe the sweat from our brows, Cress were talking about the possibility of listing our whole range.

“The Cress Company has been a business that we have watched develop over the years and it one we’ve watched with great admiration. A chance of a collaboration like this was one worth working that little bit harder to achieve.

“By allowing stores to purchase their more specialist deli items like olives and cheese all in one place, both companies hope that the listing makes it easier for farm shop and delis to keep their deli offer fresh and their time consuming ordering and paperwork to a minimum!”
