Spring has sprung, the barbecue beckons and we’re all looking for the perfect way to raise a glass with family and friends. Sales of Belvoir Farm’s naturally delicious, lightly sparkling ready-to-drinks and dilutable cordials boomed during lockdown as people looked to stay hydrated in more tasty ways, and now there’s a new launch from the family-owned firm that will make mojito-mixing a breeze this summer.
Joining the company’s 23-strong flavour range, Strawberry, Lime & Mint is a sparkling ready-to-drink that’s 100% natural and can be enjoyed on its own or with a favourite tipple.
Belvoir is known for its simple, crafted-with-nature ingredients, and this new line is no exception - it’s made with sparkling spring water and 10% fruit juices including sweet strawberries, tangy lime and a hint of mint for a boost of flavour.
With none of the mojito-mixing and muddling usually required, simply pour into a jug and add rum, lots of ice and mint leaves to garnish – or for an alcohol-free version, simply leave out the rum. Like everything in the Belvoir range, the new drink contains absolutely no preservatives, flavourings, artificial colours or artificial sweeteners.
Summer drink trends
Other drinks perfect for mixing, diluting and enjoying in the summer sun include the brand’s Ginger Cordial, made to a traditional recipe by cooking fresh root ginger with lemon juice and now Britain’s fastest growing premium ginger cordial*. Their iconic Elderflower Cordial is still a classic that can be enjoyed diluted and with ice added, or neat with sparkling wine for some garden party fizz.
The sparkling elderflower version now also comes in perfectly portioned, ready-to-drink single-serve 250ml cans, along with Raspberry Lemonade, Ginger Beer and Sparkling Pink Lady® apple juice flavours. Each provides a tasty twist on classic picnic drinks and is perfect for popping into a rucksack for outdoor refreshment.
Adding fun and flavour to at-home cocktail and mocktail occasions, the recently launched Alcohol-Free Passionfruit Martini and Alcohol-Free Gin and Tonic proved a hit during lockdown and are set to enjoy more summer success.
Perfectly suited to the growing movement for ‘virgin’ drinks and mocktails that still tick the box on great taste, they deliver delicious, character-packed alternatives to the classic Pornstar Martini and G&T and are equally as delicious as a mixer for favourite spirits.
Reconnecting with nature
Belvoir is also sporting a fresh new look for 2021 – showcasing the same delicious taste across the range but with contemporary pack designs that tap into how people are reconnecting with nature today.
With a focus on the natural ingredients that go into every Belvoir bottle and can, illustrations were drawn to reflect how the company’s carefully selected, simple ingredients grow in the wild and are pressed, mixed, sliced and cooked to deliver the very best tasting drinks possible.
