Food and drink start-ups are being offered the opportunity to present their business ideas in a Dragon’s Den-style pitch to experts in the industry at this year’s Bread & Jam Festival.

All Bread & Jam ticket holders can apply in advance of the event, with six brands being chosen to deliver a three-minute pitch to the judges, which includes Pip & Nut founder Pippa Murray. Over £30,000 worth of prizes is up for grabs to the winner, which includes six months of mentoring from Pippa, a £15,000 branding makeover from Brandality and a free stand at Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2020.

Co-founder Jason Gibb says, “We are on the look out for the next superstar of the food and drink world and we want to propel them into orbit with a stellar collection of prizes. Getting mentoring from someone like Pippa Murray, who have been there and done it is truly priceless.”

Brandality Creative Director Adam Arnold adds, “I’m very much looking forward to seeing what the participants have to present. With such an amazing prize package on offer it will certainly have to be a product with great qualities and huge potential.”

The pitches will take place on 4th October at Bread & Jam in front of a live audience of up to 100 peers, investors, media and industry experts.
