  • Fortnum & Mason is to open a second outlet at St Pancras International, for the first time in its 307 year history
Second Store for Fortnum & Mason

The new shop will be located in the former ticket hall of London’s St Pancras International Station and will create 25 new jobs when it opens in November. The new Fortnums shop will be able to draw customers from travellers using Eurostar’s gateway to Europe.

As well as selling Fortnum’s products, the store will provide a tablecloth tea service and offer an on-the-go service for travellers pressed for time. Customers will also be able to order hampers in-store, using iPads.

Ewan Venters, chief executive of Fortnum & Mason, said “St Pancras is London’s Grand Central Station. It’s a great opportunity. We feel the centre of gravity in London is moving north and east from Piccadilly.

“Thirty-five million people a year go through the station, and nearly a quarter of those people are going there to shop, rather than to travel.”
