  • From organic food and vegetarian cuisine, to healthy treats, Natural & Organic Products Europe from 13th to 14th April is a must-visit for any food retailer.

With a bigger international food and drink presence than ever, organic cookery demonstrations from top chefs, complimentary spa treatments and mouth-watering tasters, the show is packed full of ideas and activities.

In addition to networking and sourcing new products, why not take time out to attend the high quality education forum?

Get cooking
A major new initiative for 2008, the Organic Kitchen brings together some of Britain’s best-known chefs and leading proponents of organic and sustainable cuisine. As well as an exciting new feature for the show, the Organic Kitchen is a great way for top chefs to get behind the important cause of promoting healthy, organic food to a broader audience.

A formidable line-up includes TV chef Antony Worrall Thompson, who will treat visitors to a display of impeccable culinary skills. Meanwhile, chef-proprietor at the award-winning Quartier Vert restaurant, Barny Haughton, will demonstrate his much sought-after cooking skills and explain his enthusiasm for sustainable food production, and Arthur Potts Dawson will be showing off the talents that are making his Acorn House restaurant the most talked-about eco-eaterie in London. And keep an eye out for Cyrus Todiwala MBE, executive head chef at the award-winning, organic, Michelin star restaurant, Café Spice Namasté. Gillian McKeith will also be producing some tasty treats using recipes from her best-selling book.

World famous
Natural & Organic Products Europe is now firmly established as a leading showcase of the very best in natural and organic foods from around the world. It means that specialist retail buyers can get a first look — and taste — of a huge range of overseas food, drink and healthcare products that offer a real point of difference over mainstream lines.

This year there are new stands from the Lazio region of Italy (that’s in addition to the fabulous Italian Organic Pavilion), Malaysia and Argentina. There is a major presence again from the Netherlands, Wales and biodynamic specialist, Demeter. Australasia will be at the show in real force, with big representations from New Zealand and Australia — supported for the first time by London-based, Austrade.

Adding to the ‘global village’ effect will be the hundreds of overseas buyers who visit the show. Commenting on this, Christopher Dawson said, “As well as UK retailers and wholesalers, we’ve also had our suppliers from abroad — it’s a real international event.”

Go Organic
Many visitors looking for the very best in artisan organic foods pay a visit to the Soil Association Organic Marketplace — a thriving hub of small producers, farmers and fledgling start-ups, all exhibiting under one roof.

Alongside a host of fresh and plentiful samples to suit your tastebuds, as well as your senses, both the Soil Association certification advisers and its charity representatives are present this year to talk about all things organic. Put the Organic Marketplace in your diary — it’s quite simply a hive of activity for organic networkers.

New products are the life-blood of any successful retail business. And it’s the hundreds of exciting new products — many being seen for the first time — that draws 1000’s of retail buyers to Natural & Organic Products Europe.
This is why, for many visitors, The New Products Showcase is the must-see feature of the show. It’s a comprehensive showcase of the best new products coming onto the market.

Tomorrow’s best-sellers today
Relocated this year with a brand new layout and with a much larger floor-space, the New Products Showcase is set to be an even bigger draw for retailers. And while you’re there, take the opportunity to vote for your favourite products within the display. All votes are independently counted at the close of the show on Sunday, and the winners are announced Sunday night at the Natural and Organic Awards.

With 33 seminars and 53 expert speakers you’ll learn about hot new trends in natural and organic, cutting-edge ingredients, and ground-breaking research. An exclusive line-up of leading industry figures is waiting to inform and entertain you, including top names such as Patrick Holford, Gillian McKeith, Patrick Holden and Jack Challem.

Boasting the widest array of new product launches in the industry — with literally hundreds making their first ever appearance — Natural & Organic Products Europe is a true one-stop-shop for the busy natural and organic retail buyer.

With the Natural and Organic Awards — this year taking place at Chelsea Football Club — completing the picture, Natural & Organic Products Europe is the one show you really can’t afford to miss. It’s where the whole industry comes together.
