Northern retailer Booths has become the latest supermarket to join up with Deliveroo to offer home delivery as customers continue to make the most of online shopping.

The family-owned grocery chain will offer a selection of over 300 essentials on the Deliveroo app and website, giving households across Lancashire and Greater Manchester access to its products on-demand, to be delivered to their doorsteps in as little as 30 minutes.

The service is now live from Booths’ Media City store in Salford, with plans to expand to five additional stores – Fulwood, Penwortham, St Anne’s, Hale Barns and Lytham – in July. Customers will also be able to order from the grocery’s hot lunchtime and evening ranges beginning 23rd June.

Booths isn’t the first supermarket to partner up with the delivery app in response to a rise in demand for online shopping throughout COVID-19. Aldi, Morissons, Marks & Spencer and the Co-op are all available for customers through Deliveroo.

Health goods retailer Holland & Barrett also recently announced that 200 of its products, including health foods and supplements, would be available to purchase through Deliveroo. The service is available from 50 stores across the UK, to be delivered in 30 minutes or less.
