Saucy Meatball Meal Kits and Gourmet Vegan Sauce Mixes - which each feed up to four people - are being offered by the retail arm of The Dalesman Group to a selection of local community groups, food banks and ‘unheralded care heroes’ such as care home staff and carers.

Gordon Rhodes’ social media followers will be invited to nominate worthy recipients for the free products.

Company director and founding member, Ian Rhodes said, “It is incredibly important to support people in our local community and our unsung heroes as much as we can during these unprecedented times.

“Our gourmet, gluten-free sauce mixes are designed for use in a slow cooker and our easy-to-use meatball kits are perfect to use at the moment.

“We have seen a large increase in demand for our products and all our staff have worked tirelessly and safely throughout this pandemic to ensure that this demand has been met.

“Now, more than ever, it is important to sit down as a household and enjoy a wholesome meal together. We also understand that there are a lot of people who are isolating, and we hope that these gifts can help them have a hearty meal that can be batch cooked.”
