Royal Bath & West Show postponed

The Royal Bath & West Show, home of the British Cheese Awards, has been postponed alongside the Devon County Show and The Royal Cornwall Show. A statement from the board of directors for the three major agricultural events in the South West have confirmed that the new dates will be as follows:

31st July, 1st & 2nd August – The Royal Bath & West Show
28th, 29th & 30th August – Devon County Show
10th, 11th & 12th September – The Royal Cornwall Show

Rupert Cox, chief executive of the Royal Bath & West Show said, “Obviously we are very disappointed to have to postpone our ever-popular Royal Bath & West Show. We hope that our visitors, traders and exhibitors will understand we are in unprecedented circumstances and that we have a civic responsibility to act with caution. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Show on 31st July, 1st & 2nd August when we will throw a wonderful party in celebration of Great British farming and rural life. If you can’t make our event, then please support our friends in Devon and Cornwall.”
