  • Proving that hot new products are the name of the game, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair is set to play host to one of the most exciting launches

Ferran Adria, chef proprietor of Michelin starred El Bulli, the world’s best restaurant, is exclusively using Speciality & Fine Food Fair as the global launch pad for his range of artisanal oils which mirror the infused oils his uses in his world-renowned restaurant.

Speciality food distributor Watkins UK Ltd is launching eight Ferran Adria Oils at the show, including the natural infusions of Fresh Rosemary, Fresh Basil, Fried Garlic, Black Olives, Chilli & Cardamom, Fresh Lemon Peel, Four Pepper and Soy & Ginger.

Damon Le Geyt, managing director of Watkins UK Ltd., said, “Famous chefs putting their names to retail products is not a new concept, but what is unique about this initiative is that these infusions replicate the oils that Ferran actually uses at El Bulli.

“We hope that there will be a high demand for the products as Ferran Adria is widely acknowledged as the world’s best chef, and while many consumers will know about El Bulli they have probably not had the opportunity to go there: this launch gives everyone the chance to experience a taste of El Bulli.”
