From 5th to 6th May, novices and connoisseurs alike will have the unique opportunity to taste their way around Scotland’s larder getting to know the fascinating stories and personal passions behind each of the local suppliers.

Showcasing a uniquely diverse mix of over 90 regional suppliers from the Shetland’s to Dumfries and Galloway, Enjoy the Taste of Scotland offers an exclusive opportunity to discover a selection of artisan producers, award-winning suppliers as well as some of Scotland’s best kept secrets.

In the prestigious surroundings of the Assembly Rooms in George Street, Edinburgh, sample an array of different whiskies from the smooth flavours of Isle of Skye whisky to Glenmorangie’s ten-year old Ardbeg and enticing Isle of Jura Superstition, exploring the smells and flavours with a range of whisky experts who will be on hand to guide you through the complexities of these mystical drinks.

As well as sipping your way through the whiskies, beers and ales at this unmissable event you will also have the chance to try everything from award-winning smoked meats from Rannoch Smokery, the finest Scottish Beef from McIntosh Donald, the sweetest heather honey from Scarlett’s Honey and exceptionally smooth ice cream from Mackies offering a true flavour of Scotland under one roof.

And as if this wasn’t enough to entice you, Scotland’s finest chefs will also be cooking up a storm in the celebrity kitchen. Watch a selection of your favourite chefs including Martin Wishart, Andrew Fairlie, Sue Lawerence and Nell Nelson create mouth watering recipes from their favourite Scottish ingredients.
