The Farrington’s Mellow Yellow range, which includes oils, dressings and mayonnaises, now display the Society’s trademark, letting consumers know the product is 100% vegetarian.

All of Farrington’s products are produced on the family farm to high environmental standards under LEAF Marque accreditation.

Duncan Farrington, founder of the company, said, “We are delighted to receive the accreditation as it fits with our company philosophy of producing healthy, quality British products that customers appreciate. We take great pride in the fact that our range is all home-grown to the highest standards and completely additive free.”

Vanessa Brown, head of business and catering at the Vegetarian Society, added, “It’s great that the Mellow Yellow range has become Vegetarian Society Approved in time for National Vegetarian Week. Displaying the Vegetarian Society Approved trademark means consumers can be sure that a product meets the gold standard of vegetarian suitability through the Vegetarian Society’s strict criteria.”
