  • Nigel Barden, food and drink presenter on the Chris Evans Show on BBC 2 Radio, will be hosting Heart of England fine foods’ (HEFF) regional food and drink event.

HEFF is the regional food group for the West Midlands and will this year be holding F.I.N.D – Food, Information, Networking, Drink, on Tuesday 9th June at Cranmore Park, Shirley, Solihull from 10am to 5pm, an interactive food and drink conference which is open to all professionals involved in the industry, providing valuable learning opportunities for all delegates.

Nigel Barden will be talking about his career in the food industry. Guest speaker Andrew Keeble, from Debbie & Andrew’s, will be giving the closing address.

At F.I.N.D delegates will get the opportunity to explore the region’s food and drink, meet suppliers and producers, learn about the HEFF Delivery Service, attend seminars and workshops featuring guest speakers and take advantage of networking opportunities.

Highlights will include the regional food and drink debate “How to encourage loyalty to regional food and drink through the recession” and a thought provoking seminar from Les Jones from Winning Moves about Food & Drink Insights, the innovative information service from Heart of England fine foods.

There will also be a display of the HEFF Diamond Award winning products and HEFF Delivery Service products, FASTfood – 15 minute networking meetings, and a Dragon’s Den style panel where new products are put to the test.
