Juniper’s Pantry was commissioned to create a selection of food and drink to tie in with Her Majesty’s visit to the city’s Diamond Jubilee exhibition on 18th July at the Port of Sunderland.

There will be cakes, scones, puddings, pies and sandwiches to fit in with the food fads of every decade from the 1950s to the present day.

David Gill, owner of Juniper’s Pantry, said, “We made a range of real family favourites for each decade, from Victoria sandwich cakes for the 1950s right through to cupcakes on both Olympic and jubilee themes for 2012.

“It’s a really great honour for us to have been asked to take part in this historic event for the city and we’re sure Her Majesty would have enjoyed what we’ve created for her,” he added.
