Open Week To Become Annual Event

  • The success of an impromptu open week, staged by 20-year-old preserves company, Kitchen Garden, means it will now be a yearly fixture

12 farm shops and delis visited the Gloucestershire producer for a ‘behind the scenes’ tour, this week.

Guests were introduced to staff, encouraged to sample products and given a brief account of the Kitchen Garden history.

One-off 10% discounts were also offered to encourage on-the-spot orders and goodie bags issued to all.

“We’re wondering why we haven’t done this before. We’re so pleased with the number of locals who attended and will certainly be making it an annual event,” said managing director, Barbara Moinet.

“Next year we’re hoping to invite shops from further afield,” she added.
