  • An organic food producer has launched a new e-commerce website and planted ten broad leaf trees in the process

The speciality artisan producer, Feeding Your Imagination has sponsored ten trees to be planted in the South West of England.

This is part of its agreement with e-commerce provider, Studiowide Ltd in partnership with Tree Appeal.

“We have been looking to move the gift section division of our business into online shopping for a while now in order to capture a portion of the online market for premium chocolate,” said Paul Da-Costa-Greaves, Feeding Your Imagination director.

“Our delay in moving to an online retail presence was down to finding the right web development company, who could not only work with us to provide the visual impact we needed, but also had the technical expertise required to build a bespoke e-commerce solution. We then discovered Studiowide. They proved to be competitive and are also a corporate partner of Tree Appeal which was an added bonus,” he said.

Studiowide plant ten trees for every e-commerce website it provides. Being Soil Association accredited, Feeding Your Imagination already helps customers to reduce their carbon footprint through its produce, but the new online shopping facility will impact this even further.

The website and online shop will launch on 14th of July 2010 and will allow for gift-pack sales of the Feeding Your Imagination organic therapeutic chocolate range to be purchased directly online.
