  • Local butcher and food retailer, Cranstons, achieved record-breaking results at the Smithfield Awards.

Cranstons submitted seven of its own products to a judging session for the coveted Guild of Q Butchers sponsored awards, and was awarded a staggering six Golds and one silver.

Cranstons Dry Cured Streaky Bacon topped the poll, scoring full marks of 100/100 from the judging panel. Such was its overall success in the competition, Cranstons was also worthy winners of a Diamond award, a special award for outstanding product performance.
