- UK-based producers have been granted an extra two weeks to have their products judged by Michelin-starred chefs and industry experts
The Great British Food Awards is the only awards scheme dedicated to championing UK food and drink businesses, and its judging panel brings together renowned chefs and food experts including Raymond Blanc and William Sitwell.
The ideal opportunity for food and drink businesses to get their products into the hands of revered food industry icons and receive invaluable, actional feedback, the Awards are an annual celebration of our national food and drink, and each year esteemed judges are wowed by the quality and passion that goes into creating the products that enter. Only the very best products which make it through the thorough judging process are named as worthy winners and honoured in the Christmas edition of Great British Food Magazine.
Speaking after judging previous Awards entries, Raymond Blanc OBE said of the Awards, “Once again, it has been wonderful to be involved in the judging process for this year’s Great British Food Awards. My head chef Adam and I always enjoy receiving the selected products; it’s not always easy to find our winners – but as we said in our feedback, the quality was really high and it’s exciting that such good ingredients are being used.”
Food and drink businesses now have until 18th July to enter the awards.
