Food Matters Live opens search for brands of the future

To recognise the ground-breaking brands that are reimagining the future of food and nutrition, Food Matters Live is launching its Future Brands 2021 competition.

The competition offers up-and-coming brands the chance to showcase their products to a panel of influential buyers, marketing and research and development professionals, including Anna Cooper, senior director at Kantar Consulting Division; Simon Waring, owner and managing director at Green Seed UK; Suzanne Davies, R&D lead at PepsiCo Future Brands and more.

Winners will receive a video interview to be shared on the Food Matters Live website and social media channels, plus an exclusive interview on the Table Talk podcast.

“Innovation is at the heart of Food Matters Live and the Future Brands competition recognises and rewards the most promising food, drink and nutrition pioneers of the future,” said Briony Mansell-Lewis, director of Food Matters Live.

“Our judges will be looking for exceptional new brands which have spotted opportunities in the market and are successfully capitalising on that. Their products will be challenging the status quo by providing consumers with exciting and sustainable food, drink and nutraceuticals solutions,” Briony added. “From both a business and consumer perspective, we will be expecting entrants to demonstrate how their brands have a recipe for worldwide success.”

Entries will receive full access to the Food Matters Live Innovation & Insights programme in March and an opportunity to set-up one-to-one meetings with retail buyers and industry experts.

Entries close on 20th January. For entry criteria and more information, click here.
