  • NW Fine Food is launching its new NW Fine Food Lovers membership scheme, offering its members a wide range of privileges including private invitations to food events around the region and the chance to meet high-profile North West chefs and producers.

The scheme, which is backed by famous North West chefs such as Paul Heathcote, Simon Rimmer and Nigel Haworth, also entitles the member to a copy of the new and improved North West Fine Food Lovers Guide.

This little book is essentially a gazetteer of the NW Fine Food members, most of whom are producers, and it covers all categories from home jam makers, to farmers and farmers’ markets. It covers everything from cheeses and chutneys, to prepared meals via meat, fish and drinks and more. For those that aren’t as food savvy the guide also includes handy hints on how to spot the best bacon, ice cream, smoked products and so on, so you’re guaranteed to find the best.

Additional benefits of the scheme include free entry – for the member plus guest – to all of NW Fine Food Lovers Festivals (worth £33 each), as well as tutored tours and the opportunity to chat to the celebrity chefs.

Sue Nelson, chief executive of NW Fine Food, comments, “The North West produces some of the finest food in the country and we hope that by launching the NW Fine Food Lovers membership scheme, we’ll communicate the importance of loving your food and supporting your local suppliers.”
