Bakery ATM Shortlisted for Innovation Award

The Bakery ATM, launched at the end of last year by Bradfords Bakers in a Glasgow shopping centre, has been recognised for innovation by the Opal Awards, organised by the British Council of Shopping Centres.

The machine is restocked every morning with produce from the bakery, and has proved very popular with shoppers in the area.

Claire Bradford, of Bradfords Bakers, said, “We might be a fourth generation family firm, but launching the first Bakery ATM in the UK in Glasgow shows that we’ve never stopped looking for fresh ways to service our customers.

“We’re delighted with this recognition from the retail sector and look forward to rolling out our Bakery ATM to other shopping centres across the country.”
