Hampshire produce gets the spotlight at Business South show

The 2017 edition of the event showcased over 40 local producers offering samples and information about their products to potential buyers. Upham Brewery, The Garlic Farm and Mozzo Coffee were just some of the businesses exhibiting there on the day.

Organised by Business South, the event provides chefs and buyers with the opportunity to source new and exciting ingredients whilst supporting the Hampshire economy and its local producers.

In 2018, the show will be opened by MasterChef winner Jane Devonshire, and exhibitors will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive seminar with speakers including Laura Trapnell of Paris Smith and John Davey of Cavendish Ship Stores. Pre-registered buyers can attend a variety of tastings and network with colleagues from the industry. Buyers registering to attend before 30 November 2017 will be entered into a draw to win a local produce Christmas Hamper.

Tracy Nash, commercial manager at Hampshire Fare said, “The Local Produce Show is a rare opportunity for chefs and buyers to meet and chat to an array of Hampshire producers all in one place. Producers offer tasters and the opportunity to find out the story behind their food and drink. For anyone keen to add a touch of Hampshire to their business, this a definite date for the diary!”
