Get your free copyShepherds Purses’s Harrogate Blue, is up against leading supermarket brands such as The Laughing Cow, Cathedral City, Pilgrims Choice and Philadelphia in The Grocer New Product Awards.
The awards recognise fmcg innovation and seek products with star quality that are new to the market, reformulated, repositioned or added to an existing line.
Each product first went through a consumer test and was rated on taste, originality, relevance to the consumer and intention to buy post-trial.
The second stage will see the cheese evaluated by an expert panel of judges.

The winner will be announced in October.
