Woodall’s Range Receives British Makeover

Woodall’s decided to alter its original packaging after customer feedback pointed to it not sufficiently reflecting the company’s British credentials. The new packaging incorporates a union jack flag across the bottom of each label and includes the word ‘British’ in most product descriptions.

Different colours and shades have also been adopted to link with certain flavours within the range, with Norfolk Mustard Salami represented with a yellow shade and Spicy Cumberland Salami with a rich red.

James Crease, sales and marketing manager said, “This is totally consistent with the growing movement amongst shoppers to buy local produce and support British producers. We are a quintessential British product, using British outdoor bred pork and traditional curing and smoking techniques. Our recipes have been curated from the Woodall’s recipe archives by master curer, Colin Woodall. We’re not simply a take on Continental charcuterie, we’re British producers making British charcuteir. This is something that we’re very proud of, and now we are going to highlight this on our packaging.”
