Industry calls for innovative businesses to share their COVID-19 story

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, companies across the fine food and drink sector have adapted their business strategy and services in order to ride the storm, meet customer demand and find new routes to market.

Now, Speciality Food is looking for the most inspiring story of COVID-19 innovation in the industry.

Together with The Food Marketing Experts and Speciality & Fine Food Fair, we’re looking for inspiring stories from businesses that have been innovative during the pandemic, re-engineering their brand and strategy in order to survive the challenges that COVID-19 has presented.

The winner will have the opportunity to share their personal experiences in Speciality Food magazine as well as across the magazine’s digital channels, giving your company media coverage worth £750.

Holly Shackleton, editor of Speciality Food said, “They say that innovation triumphs in adversity, and nowhere has this been more apparent than within the food and drink industry over the past few months. The outbreak of Covid-19 has seen many SMEs in the sector face huge challenges, and many have wowed with their inspirational displays of passion and innovation. This competition is an opportunity for such businesses to showcase their story and earn the time in the spotlight that they so clearly deserve”.

To enter, follow @specialityfair, @thefoodmarketingexperts and @specialityfoodmagazine on Instagram, and share your story via DM to Speciality Food or email holly.shackleton@aceville.co.uk. The competition closes at midnight on 3rd July 2020.
