‘Deli Doctor’ Carries Out Business Refurb

Iain Hemming, owner of Thyme & Tides Deli, Bistro and Fishmonger in Stockbridge, helped with a relaunch of a farm shop at Weston Park, which is now called the Granary Deli and Café.

The business closed for two months for rebranding, a new store layout, redecoration and refitting, a revamped product range, significant changes within the staff team and extensive retraining.

Mr Hemming said, “Working closely with the senior management team, I looked at every aspect of the struggling business, and we have changed pretty much everything, apart from the location, to give it a new lease of life! The end result is fabulous. It now has the promise of a vibrant and exciting business with ambition and passion, offering customers a great deli and an inviting café serving delicious food, all under one roof.

“Standalone delis are a dying breed, sadly. In order to thrive in this increasingly ruthless business environment, you’ve got to have a mix of offerings for your customers, and give people multiple reasons to come and visit, and then keep on returning, The Granary Deli and Café now has something for everyone, and early indicators from customers are really positive.”
